Watch| Man builds first-ever hotel that floats on sea in Ivory Coast with 800k plastic bottles

African country of Ivory Coast has used two stones to kill two birds.

This is in the sense that while trying to remedy the sanitation problem in the country caused by used plastic bottles, he also created a beautiful and unique hotel from this waste and his ingenuity has made him a hero on social media.

The man identified simply as Eric who migrated to Ivory Coast in Africa has now built the first-ever hotel that floats on the sea using 800k plastic bottles.

His story was shared on Facebook by popular content creator Nas Daily.

Eric’s hotel reportedly has an average of 100 persons per week. Nas’ documentary reveals the well-furnished floating hotel rents at $100 per night and boasts of facilities like Wi-Fi, a solar-powered lighting system, and air conditioners.

At the request of the guests, the hostel can be moved from one location to the other on the sea.
