Over 840 babies born in Malawi on Christmas

Information sourced by faceofmalawi indicates that over 840 babies were delivered in various public hospitals across the country on Christmas day.

Ministry of Health has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.

According to the report, Mangochi registered a high number of newly born babies (102) followed by Machinga district which recorded 76 new babies.

Here is the break down of the deliveries by the health ministry.

Karonga39 (21 male + 18 female)

Machinga76 (30 male +46 female)

Salima 61 (30 male +31 female)
