Mutharika remarks indicate that he doesn’t favour Nankhumwa – Political Comentator

Social and political commentator, Wonderful Mkhutche has said the remarks made by Arthur Peter Mutharika on Kondwani Nakhumwa poster, shows that he does not approve Nankhumwa as the next president of Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).

“The image of Bingu wa Mutharika is for every party member, and not the Mutharika family. Clearly, Peter Mutharika does not favour Kondwani Nankhumwa. It can be seen from the reaction,” he said.

According to Mkhutche, Mutharika and other officials need to sit down and solve their issues.

He further said DPP can not go heat-to-head with Tonse Alliance as it stands and if these arguments continue, the party will be heading to the next elections while damaged.
