Malawian Arrested For Aiding 93 Ethiopians Illegal Entry

Immigration Department in Northen region has nabbed Yona Kamanga on suspicion of helping 93 Ethiopians to enter into the country without valid papers.
The suspects were arrested around Chiskombe area in Mzimba while hiding under a tarpaulin at the back of a seven-tonne lorry.
According to the Immigration department, all the 93 Ethiopians do not have passports and did not present themselves to Immigration officers to legalize their entry.
The development comes hours after police in Nchinji arrested 28 Ethiopians for trying to exit Malawi through unchartered routes.
