Phalombe man Nabbed over Illegal Possession of Undocumented Firearm

Police in Phalombe have arrested a man identified as Justin James Mphinji for being found in possession of a firearm without a license.

Mphinji aged 45, hails from Likhura Traditional Authority (T/A) Nkhulambe in Phalombe.

It is reported that Police found the gun hidden under firewood while wrapped in a Sack.

But Police say by then the suspect was already in a custody answering another charge of Intimidation.

Mphinji is expected to appear before the court to be formally charged.
