Ombudsman Grace Malera has told the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament that her office is yet to pay about K78 million for rentals after surviving eviction in March.
Malera said her office is working together with the Ministry of Lands on a permanent solution to the problem.
Ombudsman office is among the beneficiaries of the land being allocated to various government Ministries and institutions that are operating from rented offices.
