Leaner shun classes to look after her paralyzed mother in Zambia

An 18 year old of Lusaka’s Mtendere compound is likely to drop out of school in order to seek help in nursing her mother.

ABN TV’s Idah Banda Musakanya reports that since she was 10 years old, Ruth Sikaoma has been taking care of her mother who is paralysed.

Ruth has to leave classes early every day to go and change her ailing mother’s diapers.
