Govt Officials, Nankhumwa Graces Martse Funeral Ceremony

Today, Malawians are flocking to CIVO stadium in Lilongwe were funeral ceremony of Malawi hip-hop icon Martin Nkhata, well-known as Martse will be held.
Currently, wife of vice president of Malawi, Mary Chilima, Minister of Tourism Michael Usi, Minister of Youth Richard Chimwendo Banda and Leader of Opposition in parliament Kondwani Nkhumwa have arrived at CIVO to pay their last respects to the icon.
Hundreds of people from all walks of life have also gathered at CIVO to pay their last respect to the king.
Martse died on Monday at Queen Elizabeth Central hospital in Blantyre after sustaining burns after a house he slept in Monkey Bay, Mangochi caught fire.
