Videos having been trending on social media for the past several days of individuals claiming to sell their toes for money. People said that different toe sizes attracted different prices with the larger toe costing an estimated 4.7 million Kenyan Shillings as the little one costed 2.3 million kenyan shillings.

It’s believed that the toes are used in cultic rituals to make people rich though these claims haven’t been proven yet.

The Minister in a statement said that, “we’ve done a research on this issue and realized it’s false. These are social media posts aimed at tarnishing the name of our good country.”

“We are not involved in the alleged cutting of people’s toes here. Our deals are straightforward, we sell various leg gadgets here and if someone sees my car, they think I got it after having my toe cut,” one citizen said.
