A wife to Zambia’s top rapper Mwila Musonda well known as Slapdee has trashed social media reports that she is a victim of Gender Based violence (GBV).
For the past days, social media platforms in Zambia was awash with rumors that the rapper had badly beaten his wife Matakala Lubinda and locked her in their house.
The reports continued that the rapper was summoned by the police for questioning.
Responding to what she called “stupid rumors” Slapdee’s wife said the reports are untrue and unfounded, according to her, fighting is not in their DNA.
“This is in response to drama, or stupid stuff that has been speculating on Facebook, that this and this has beaten so and so, guys we don’t fight over here we are very civil people we sit down and talk,” she said in a video.
She then called on concerned people who had been buzzing her to check if she okay that they should forget about the “stupid rumors” and asked them to tell Facebook bloggers who were spreading the rumor to mind their business.
“If they are trying to chase some crowds, this is the wrong way of doing it, I am very well as you can see alive and kicking,” she said.
She then blasts social media online publication for wasting their hate on people whom they don’t even know, Lubinda called on bloggers to learn and stay in their lane.
Slapdee did not comment on the matter.
