The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested former Inspector General of police George Kainja over allegations that he recieved bribes from businessperson Zunneth Sattar.
Kainja has been arrested along Mwabi Kaluwa another senior officer in the Malawi Police Service (MPS).
The two are currently been cautioned by the Bureau in Lilongwe and Mzuzu respectively and are expected to appear before court later today according to insiders.
