Leader of opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa who is also Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Vice President for the South has said that all is set for his mega rally at Nyambadwe Community Ground in Blantyre.
Nankhumwa together with estranged DPP Secretary General Grezelder Jeffrey will hold a mega rally this coming Sunday.
Writing on his official facebook page Nankhumwa said: “ALL SET! DPP Woyeeee!”
“Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika Woyeeee!”
The rally comes amid infighting in the party over leader of the opposition post in Parliament. Former President Peter Mutharika’s camp appointed George Chaponda as leader of the opposition replacing Nankhumwa.
But the Nankhumwa camp led by Welani Chilenga obtained an injunction against the appointment of Chaponda.
