Birth of Xavaline in a family of 14 The elderly woman was raised by a family of 14 children, all of whom eventually got married and abandoned her home.
Prayers have never been effective. The elderly spinster was also brought to church, but there, too, prayers were ineffective. Even worse, Xavaline’s legs started to swell a few years ago, and she was in excruciating discomfort. She has visited a number of hospitals, including the Goma hospital, but the swelling has not decreased.
Since then, doctors have advised surgery, but she lacks the funds. She currently takes painkillers.
