NETHERLANDS DONATES FOOTBALL JERSEY TO MTENGULA PRIMARY SCHOOL

Netherlands, through Likoma Conservation Foundation have donated a set of football jersey to Mtengula Full Primary School in Likoma District.

Field Supervisor for Likoma Conservation Foundation, Michael Putaputa who presented the donation on behalf of Netherlands said the donation was done due to the challenges the school was facing.

Putaputa said the well-wishers decided to support the school with some resources, especially in sports activities. Physical fitness and wellbeing of learners is very important despite being a learning area.

Head Teacher for Mtengula Full Primary School, Fyton Nyondo thanked the well-wishers on behalf of the school, saying the donation will help in promoting sports activities at the school.

Likoma Conservation Foundation, which is sponsored by well-wishers from Netherlands, provides support to education, health and reforestation conservation in the District.
