ADMARC workers in peaceful demonstrations in Lilongwe

Workers from ADMARC in Lilongwe are holding demonstrations trying to force the company, which was closed temporarily, to pay them their September monthly.

One of the workers’ representatives Memory Kanyenda said the company did not pay them their salary for the month of this month and they are not certain if they will receive their October pay.

She said they also want the company to fast track the retrenchment process in order for them to receive their benefits and find other means of survival.

They are expected to deliver their petition to the District Commissioner’s Office.
