Accident in Dowa claims 6 lives

Police in Dowa (Chezi) in collaboration with hospital officials of Kamuzu Central Hospital have confirmed the death of about 6 people in a minibus accident which occured this evening on its way to Lilongwe from Salima.
The cause of the accident has been ruled to be a burst front tyre which resulted in the minibus driver losing control of the vehicle.
The bus was carrying 20 people. Several others have sustained injuries
