Hakainde Hichilema shed tears over death of His Royal Highness Chief Munkonge

Zambia President Hakainde Hichilema has expressed shock over the untimely death of of His Royal Highness Chief Munkonge of the Bemba speaking people of Kasama District.

Chief Munkonge died on Sunday after a shot illness, according a statement from family members.

“It’s with a deep sense of sorrow and sadness, that we received the news of the death of His Royal Highness Chief Munkonge of the Bemba speaking people of Kasama District.

“We express our profound condolences to his family, the Bemba Royal Establishment and the Bemba speaking people of Kasama District over the untimely death of the Chief,” wrote Hakainde Hichilema.
