Mutharika’s son Tadikira transferred to Mzuzu prison

Information reaching this publication indicates that Tadikira Mafubza, a step-son of former President Peter Mutharika has finally been transferred to Mzuzu Prison.

Tadikira was arrested last week in connection with the death of 30 people found buried in a mass grave at Mtangatanga Forest in Mzimba.

Mutharika’s son together with four other suspects are facing human trafficking charges at the High court.

Yesterday, Mutharika and the former first lady Gertrude Mutharika visited Tadikira at Maula Prison in the capital Lilongwe.

The two were accompanied by some DPP top officials.
