Former President Peter Mutharika has taken to social media to celebrate 86th birthday of former Minister of Finance Goodall Edward Gondwe who also once served as Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Member of Parliament for Mzimba North.
Gondwe was born on December 1, 1936, according to birth certificate seen by this publication.
According to a statement seen by this publication, the former President Peter Mutharika has wished the DPP Vice President for the North well as he celebrate his 86th birthday.
Gondwe served as Minister of Finance and Economic Development under the reign of former President Bingu Wa Mutharika.
During his term of office as Minister, the country registered an economic boom.
