Apologise to us, DPP demands

The opposition Democratic Progressive Party, not very well known for offering apologies itself the time it was in power if the (in) famous Mukhito saga is to go by, has demanded an apology from the ruling Peoples’ Party over the claims that it was behind the fire that gutted houses belonging to its (PP) supporters in Mulanje.

DPP deputy spokesperson, Bon Kalindo, has demanded the apology on behalf of the party after the police have revealed in a report that the fire was not a case of arson as the nation was made to believe by the PP loudmouths but rather a case of an accident.

It is in the wake of such a relieving report to the DPP that the party has asked for an apology from the party that came after it in government.

However, PP acting secretary general, Paul Maulidi, declined to comment on the issue citing he was yet to read the report presented by the police on the issue.
