MOAM encourages Minibus owners to obtain PSV before 31 March

Minibus owners in the country have been advised to go and obtain Passenger Services Vehicle (PSV) log book from the Department of Road Traffic and Safety Services before March 31, 2023.

The sentiment has been made by Minibus Owners Association of Malawi (MOAM) to encourage all Minibus owners to get PSV especially those who operate on long routes.

Secretary General for MOAM Coxley Kamange has said that the date has been set due to the enforcement of the log books will come into force starting from April 1 this year.

Kamange also said that the authorities from the enforcement department will be in a full check to ensure everyone abides by the vehicle’s log book guidelines.

Meanwhile, the Association has urged the minibus owners, and drivers to cooperate, so as to avoid atrocities that may result from misconducts and law negligence.
