Ministry of Education warns against unauthorized payment of TTCs IPTE 18 school fees

The Ministry of Education in Malawi has issued a warning to parents, guardians, teachers and students who are yet to report for classes in the Teachers Training Colleges (TTCs) IPTE 18 against paying school fees through Airtel Money or TNM Mpamba.

According to a statement released by the Ministry, there are some individuals who are falsely claiming to be authorized by the Ministry to collect school fees through Airtel Money and TNM Mpamba.

The Ministry has strongly advised against this, stating that it has no such arrangements for school fees payment through mobile money platforms.

The Ministry of Education has warned all parents, guardians, teachers and students to regard such individuals as thieves and not to fall prey to their fraudulent activities.

The Ministry has also encouraged all students who have been approached to pay fees through unauthorized means to report such individuals to the police.
