Police in Zomba are keeping in custody for people for allegedly found in possession of cannabis Sativa and medical drugs illegally.
According to Public Relations Officer Zomba Police station, Patricia Sipiliano, the arrest comes under the raid organized by zomba police in order to clear the rubble in Zomba in as far as security is concerned.
Sipilano has identified the two suspects as Violet Lucius, aged 40, and Esther Fred, 62,who were arrested for being found in possession of cannabis sativa without licensing documents, and they were found with a bag full of Chamba and 2 plastic bags of the drug respectively.
While the other two suspects are identified as John Justine Mpunga aged71, and Rose Mkolesha, aged 62, who were found in possession of medical drugs without a license
The four suspects, will soon appear before in the court of law to answer various charges.
