President Joyce Banda is expected to get an award from the Lions International for her charity activities.
According to the Lions International, President of the body will jet into the country in February next year where, among other things, he will present an award to Malawi President Joyce Banda.
The entourage that will come with the Lions International President, Barry Palmer, will also attend the disability persons forum with African Heads of state and Special Olympics International that will be held in the Capital, Lilongwe from February 10 to the 12th.
President Banda will get her award at the same day when the forum will commence.
There will also be a group of African leaders including Zimbabwean Robert Mugabe, Mozambique’s Armando Guebuza, Botswana’s Ian Seretse Khama and others at the event.
