Lady Gaga appeared on Saturday Night Live on November 16 to host, perform and bamboozle the US variety show’s audience.

While her recent live appearances have all been full of daring in the name of art, this show was made even more special by the appearance of R Kelly.

Performing ‘Do What U Want’, Gaga and the singer embarked on a routine full of surreal intent, with the pair simulating sex via dance moves and press-ups. It’s made marginally stranger by the woman who enters stage right and has apparently been hired exclusively to hold R Kelly’s sunglasses.
