Mphwiyo evades PAC

Mr Paul Mphwiyo, Malawi’s shot Budget Director, has arrived in the country but has found his way to evade the Parliamentary Accounts Committee that had summoned him long before his arrival.

PAC had summoned Mphwiyo to ask him questions not only over his shooting but as well as his role in the Capitol Hill looting of which he has been said to have been at the centre of it as well.

However, Mphwiyo has declined to meet the PAC gurus claiming that he has problems in speaking and cannot manage to address them as he is still recovering. Mphwiyo was shot four times with some bullets finding themselves in his face where they hit him in the jaws as well.

Strangely enough though, the police claim to have interrogated Mphwiyo while he was in South Africa days back and apparently by then he must have not fully recovered.
