Man killed by Lightning in Mulanje District

A 29 year old man from Mulanje district has died after being struck by lightning, and the man has been identified as Moses Dolola.

Spokesperson of police in the district, Innocent Moses has said that this hhappened on Wednesday this week in Mikukuni which is part of Bloomfield Tea Company where Dolola was working.

He said that at that time Dolola and his two friends were sitting under a tree while they were eating lunch, and it started raining and the lightning struck all of them.

All of them were taken to Muloza Hospital where it was confirmed that Moses Dolola has died.

Moses Dolola comes from Kaliza village in the area of senior chief Mabuka in Mulanje district.
