Rev Father Vincent Mwakhwawa to be consecrated as Auxiliary Bishop tomorrow in Lilongwe

The consecration of the newly elected Auxiliary Bishop of Lilongwe Archdiocese Very Reverend Father Vincent Mwakhwawa is scheduled for this coming Saturday at Civo Stadium.

Pope Francis appointed Reverend Father Vincent Mwakhwawa to the post in September last year.

State Vice President Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima is scheduled to attend the consecration ceremony which is scheduled to start from 8am.

Until his appointment, Fr. Mwakhwawa was Vicar General of the Lilongwe Archdiocese.

He also served as National Director of the Pontifical Missionaries Society, a position he held until his recent appointment.
