Bingu’s family broke, granddaughter failing to attend school

The family of former President of the republic, late Bingu wa Mutharika, is bloke if the information supplied by one of the closer people to the family, Bright Malopa, is anything to go by.

According to Malopa, one of Bingu’s granddaughters, Angel Mutharika, who is eight years old is failing to attend classes because the family cannot support her education feees.

Malopa disclosed this in posting on Facebook claiming it is the Banda regime’s pinching of the family in an economic corner that has led to the family being that bloke.

Ironically, President Mutharika is accused of amassing wealth amounting to over MK 60 billion Malawi Kwacha. The family and the government have been in a legal tussle over the property of late Mutharika.

Mutharika’s brother, Peter, is seeking to be elected as the President of this nation in the 2014 elections.
