Two suspected thieves beaten to death in Dedza

Two unknown suspected criminals have died at Dedza District Hospital after being assaulted by angry villagers for attempting to rob a motorcycle taxi operator.

Spokesperson for Dedza District Health Office Mwai Liabunya has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Liabunya, the two were rushed to the hospital while in critical condition.

The incident occurred at Dibi depot in the district.

No one has been arrest in connection with the incident.
