MCP Youth Director Attacked by Bodyguard at BICC Convention Entrance

In a developing story, it has been reported that the Malawi Congress Party’s (MCP) Director of Youth for Lakeshore, Hon. Ronald Njikho, has been attacked by one of an aspirant’s bodyguards while trying to restore order at the entrance of the Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC), where the MCP convention is taking place.

Today, the MCP is holding a convention to select new party officials who will lead the party for the next five years. Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, the party’s president and also the state president, has already arrived at the venue.

The convention will run for three days, from today until Saturday.
