Mzuzu Police Caution Drivers Against Reckless Driving Fuelling Road Accident

Police in Mzuzu reveal that no injuries were sustained in a road accident that happened early this morning in the city involving a Captain Tours bus, registration number NN 5315.
Public relations officer for Mzuzu Police Station Maurice Chapola, has confirmed the accident, saying fortunately, no one on board was injured.
The bus travelling from Karonga was approaching Mzuzu Central Hospital junction when the driver Lazarus Mwale swerved to avoid hitting a pedestrian and ended up smashing into a satellite pole.
Chapola has since cautioned drivers against over speeding, saying most road accidents that have happened in August could be attributed to reckless driving.
