Tabitha Chawinga Nominated for 2024 FIFA Women’s Player of the Year

Malawian football sensation Tabitha Chawinga, who plays in France, has been shortlisted for the prestigious 2024 FIFA Women’s Player of the Year award, known as The Best.
Chawinga is one of only two African players nominated, alongside Zambia’s Barbara Banda. The list features 12 top players from across the globe, and voting for the award has already commenced.
This nomination highlights Chawinga’s exceptional talent and her significant impact on women’s football at the international level.
She was recently among the nomiees in Ballon d’or together with Zambian star Babra.
