Woman Dies After Vehicle Hits Stationary Truck in Dowa

A woman identified as Eneless Maduka has died in a road accident in Dowa after the vehicle she was driving collided with a stationary lorry.
According to Lumbadzi Police publicist Sergeant Felix Kwinyani, the incident occurred in the early hours of today near Lumbadzi Trading Centre along the Lilongwe-Kasungu M1 Road.
Sergeant Kwinyani reported that Maduka, aged 38, was driving a saloon vehicle from Lumbadzi towards Kanengo when she lost control due to speeding.
She sustained severe head injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Lumbadzi Health Centre in Dowa District.
