Mentally Ill Man Allegedly Burns Down Five Family Homes in Nsanje

In Nsanje, the relatives of a man identified as Madilitso Fred—who is reportedly suffering from mental illness—are in shock after he allegedly set fire to five of their houses.
Police have not yet established the total value of the property lost in the incident.
According to Sub Inspector Agnes Zalakoma, the district police spokesperson, the incident occurred yesterday evening in Thaundi Village, located in the Ndamera Chiefdom of Nsanje District.
Sub Inspector Zalakoma confirmed that a man named Boaz Thaundi filed the report with the police.
