Woman Nabbed For Chewing 15 Year-old Boy in Balaka

Police in Balaka have arrested a 30-year-old woman for allegedly having sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old male child.

Balaka Police publicist, Gladson M’bumpha, has identified the woman as Eluby Magaleta who hails who comes from Masese Village in Traditional Authority Mbera in the District.

According to M’bumpha, Eluby is suspected to have committed the offence between June 22 to June 24, 2025 during day light at Kaliati Trading Centre in the District

Police report indicates that the victim (name withheld)who is in standard 3, told her mother that between June 22 and June 24, 2025 as he was coming from the market and passing by the suspect who called him and forced him into her house where she used sign language to communicate with the victim.

The suspect then removed all her clothes and she forced the victim to put his manhood on her private part while she bend down. The victim did as per orders and having done this, the victim because afraid that he did not reveal it to anyone.

Two days later, the suspect called the victim in the presence of her mother but the victim denied and it was this time when he revealed to her mother what happened.

The matter was reported to Police on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 who made a follow up and managed to arrest the suspect on allegation that she raped a boy of mental illness.

The suspect, Eluby Magaleta, will appear before court soon to answer a charge of having sexual intercourse with a male child.
