7 Arrested in Phalombe for Smuggling Fuel To Mozambique

Police in Phalombe have arrested seven people, including five Malawians, for allegedly trying to smuggle fuel into Mozambique.
Phalombe Police spokesperson Sergeant Jimmy Kapanja, confirmed the arrest and said the police were informed from concerned citizens who suspected the illegal activity.
The suspects were caught by alert officers stationed at the Koloviko border during the operation, the police managed to seize 755 litres of fuel from the group.
The suspects are expected to appear in court soon to face charges related to fuel smuggling.
