Police Seize 180 Litres of Petrol, Arrest One in Mulanje

Mulanje police have arrested 36-year-old Anthony Mwalowa for illegal possession and transportation of petrol.
According to Mulanje Police Assistant publicist Hawa Juma, on June 29, 2025, officers spotted Mwalowa and two others riding motorcycles with jerrycans wrapped in sacks on the Mulanje-Limbe road.
After a pursuit, police seized six jerrycans containing 180 litres of petrol.
