During a recent visit to the United Kingdom, French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, drew attention for a brief but notable interaction.

As they disembarked their plane in West London, President Macron offered his hand to help his wife. Brigitte, however, chose to use the handrail instead, seemingly ignoring the gesture.

Macron then quickly withdrew his hand and turned to greet the Princess of Wales. Later, the couple was seen sitting in a car, with Brigitte absorbed in her phone and not engaging with her husband.

The moment reminded many of a similar incident in May during their trip to Vietnam, where Brigitte was seen pushing her husband’s face aside.

These public interactions have sparked online discussion, with some noting a pattern of awkwardness between the pair.
