Police Arrest Man in Lilongwe for Alleged Possession of Unlicensed Firearm

anengo Police in Lilongwe have arrested 30-year-old Maxwell Fadweek for allegedly possessing a firearm and ten rounds of ammunition believed to be unlicensed.

According to Kanengo Police spokesperson Gresham Ngwira, officers received a tip-off yesterday that Fadweek, who is believed to be a police officer, was in possession of a firearm. He was later located and arrested.

Police say investigations are currently underway to determine how he obtained the weapon and ammunition.
