68-Year-Old Man Killed in Road Accident at Chinkhoma Market in Kasungu

A 68-year-old man, Maulana Nkhoma, has died after being hit by a vehicle at Chinkhoma Market in Kasungu District.
According to Chifundo Nedi, assistant to the Kasungu District Police Officer-in-Charge, the driver of a Nissan UD vehicle (registration number UD 7772) was traveling from Santhe to Kasungu. Upon reaching the market area, he struck the deceased, who was crossing the road at the time.
Nedi stated that Nkhoma sustained severe head injuries and died shortly after being taken to the hospital.
