Two Arrested in Karonga for Possessing 100kg of Cannabis

Karonga Police have arrested James Luhanga, 42, and Speck Mwafongo, 39, for possessing 100 kilogrammes of cannabis sativa without a permit.
According to Karonga Police spokesperson Margret Msiska, the duo was intercepted at Rasha Roadblock along the Karonga–Chitipa Road while riding a motorcycle carrying four sack bags containing the cannabis.
Msiska said the confiscated substance will be sent to Lunyangwa Research Station for analysis.
