Four Die After Boat Capsizes on Shire River

Four people have died after a boat they were in capsized on the Shire River in the Kamwiri Chieftaincy, Lundu area of Blantyre.
Police spokesperson Jonathan Philipo identified the deceased as Austin Misheck, 35; Lucius Dyson, 27; Samalani Kinord, 22; and James Kapesi, 20.
Philipo said the group of five had gone out in the boat to cut down bamboos when it capsized.
Only one person managed to swim to safety.
