Mangochi Police Investigate Sexual Assault and Murd3r of 3-Year-Old Girl

Police in Mangochi are searching for unidentified suspects who are suspected of raping and killing a three-year-old child.

Mangochi police spokesperson Amina Tepani Daudi said the incident took place in Chipoka village, Traditional Authority Mponda in the district.

“The child’s body was found in a toilet where it is believed the suspects left her after fulfilling their purpose,” Daudi said.

They said medical tests confirmed that the child was raped and her neck was twisted.

Police are appealing to anyone with information about the incident to help expedite the investigation and bring the perpetrators to justice
