Two Mozambican Nationals Arrested For Murder In Mchinji

Police in Mchinji have arrested two Mozambican nationals for allegedly murdering a 42-year-old Malawian, Frank Aclass Kamzati, last month in the district.
District police spokesperson Limbani Mpinganjira has identified the two as Blessings Yohane, 24, and his brother Austin Yohane 18, both from Eputala Village, Chief Khamande in Mgunde district in Mozambique.
Mpinganjira says the duo is suspected of killing Kamzati, a teacher at Tamanimwendo Primary School at Mzanda village in the area of Senior Chief Mavwere.
He added that the suspects robbed of the deceased, his motorcycle, and two mobile phones in the process.
Mpinganjira said, “Police recovered an Airtel sim card at the scene, which they used as a point of departure with investigations and led to the arrest of the suspects who were staying at Waliranji trade centre in Mchinji.”
