Man Arrested in Limbe for Possessing 215 Liters of Petrol Without License

Police in Limbe have arrested 20-year-old Dave Linya for possessing and transporting 215 liters of petrol without a license.
According to Sub Inspector Aubrey Singanyama, Public Relations Officer for Limbe Police Station, Linya was intercepted on Sunday while ferrying the fuel on a motorcycle taxi and failed to provide the required documentation.
The Malawi Police Service has since warned the public against transporting, storing, or selling liquid gas without proper authorization, stressing that unlicensed handling poses a serious fire hazard and risks to public safety.
