Dorothy Kingston to Receive 2025 Fashion Icon Award at UMP Festival

Organizers of the UMP Festival have announced that Dorothy Kingston will be honored with the 2025 Fashion Icon Award for her bold fashion choices and influence, which have often sparked conversations on social media.
According to a statement released by the organizers, the award is aimed at appreciating and encouraging Kingston for her role in pushing boundaries and leading fashion trends in Malawi.
The award will be officially presented during this year’s UMP Festival, scheduled to take place from 21 to 27 October at Cape Maclear in Mangochi.
The UMP Festival is one of Malawi’s biggest cultural, music, and fashion events, bringing together creatives and trendsetters from different fields.
