Drama as woman files for divorce a week after wedding because husband slapped her

A woman has gone viral after filing for divorce just one week after her wedding.
The story was shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter) named Kunle, who revealed that the woman’s husband slapped her two days after the ceremony.
According to the tweet, this act of violence prompted her to immediately seek a divorce.
In response, the woman’s father reportedly had the husband arrested.
“My friend filed for a divorce a week after her wedding because her husband slapped her 2 days after said wedding. Her dad arrested him as well,” the tweet stated.
