Man Arrested for Transporting Petroleum Without Permit in Zomba

Police in Zomba have arrested Blessings Mphapa, 30, for transporting liquid petroleum without permit.
Zomba Police publicist, Patricia Sipiliano, disclosed that officers at Jali received a tip-off about the suspect who was transporting the liquid petroleum products without the required documents.
Following this information, an investigation was initiated leading to the arrest of the suspect and confiscation of 300 litres of fuel from a motor vehicle. The suspect will appear in court soon to answer the charge leveled against him
