Information reaching our news desk indicates that fuel shortages have resurfaced in Lilongwe and surrounding areas following another spike in fuel prices.
Long queues of vehicles have been spotted at the few petrol stations in Lilongwe that still have fuel in stock, while many others remain completely dry.
In Salima District, the situation appears even worse, with most filling stations closed due to lack of fuel, and hardly any queues — not because demand is low, but because supply is nonexistent.
A video circulating online shows a long line of vehicles waiting for fuel in Lilongwe, reflecting the growing frustration among motorists.
